Epoch II
13.
Time Passes
14.
Nymphs
The nymphs, the women who have adorned Dracula’s life, emerge from a pool of blood
to become immortal beings between hell and earth.
15.
Life
Dracula rises from his coffin to continue in his empty loveless existence in the dark of the night.
16.
The Secret Castle
Dracula’s distant relation Lorraine, an impoverished, abandoned noble-girl, protected only by her
brother Steven, a young priest, arrives at the castle. Her meeting with Dracula becomes fateful. Dracula’s
charisma strikes her innocent soul. The Prince, enchanted by her beauty, overcomes his lust for blood.
17.
Jealousy
The nymphs perceive a threat to their privileged position and persuade Dracula to hold a bloody ceremony.
18.
A Meeting in the Garden
Dracula sends a servant to invite Lorraine to the magnificent ball.
19.
The Ball
Dracula has prepared an extravagant party for his new love. The gorgeous costumes worn by the guests,
however, conceal werewolf claws and animal fangs. After the departure of Dracula and a stupefied
Lorraine, the ball suddenly becomes an animalistic orgy. Steven witnesses everything.
He wants to free his sister, but is drawn by the wild monstrous crowd into the faith of the insane waltz.
Thanks to the servant, however, he is saved at the last moment.
20.
The Bridge of Time
The servant philosophises over the exhausted body of Steven and about the relationship
between masters and sevants.
21.
Steven’s Monologue
Steven wakes up after several days of involuntary sojourn at the castle. In his monologue, he reaches
the persuasion that his sister has fallen into the hands of the devil. He is firmly resolved to rescue her.
22.
My Lord
Lorraine confesses her love to Dracula.
23.
Resolution
The fates of the heroes clash in the concluding dramatic trio. Steven accuses Dracula of imprisoning
his sister and of bloody crimes. Dracula mocks him. Steven, convinced that evil cannot be combatted
by faith alone, attacks him with a weapon. Not even Lorraine can prevent their conflict. Steven is shocked
by Dracula’s immortality and throws himself into an encounter with death. Lorraine’s deep passion
is stronger than the loss of her brother. She begs Dracula to be initiated into the mythical life
of the vampires. Dracula reluctantly agrees.
24.
The Hunt for Evil
The people are outraged by the mysterious murders and turn their anger to Dracula’s castle.
The servant guilefully turns the threat away and assumes leadership over the enraged mob himself.
